Can't say I disagree. Many more reasons I like Libre Office beyond that, of course. :)

I personally rarely use office apps unless it is in a collaborative setting so I end up needing google docs, or something similar that allows multiple people to simultaneously edit the same file. Also having to actually install an office suite on my computer feels like an outdated concept

What if you need to write a formal letter/response to <whatever>? Like
a request for information, or a letter to an official organization or something? That's not collaborative, it's just personal. Not
    everything involves multiple people.

Also having to actually install an office suite on my computer
    feels like an outdated concept

    It isn't.

Microsoft 365 has decent web-based apps, too. I go through periods at
work where I do everything in the office web apps, since my other apps
are web-based, too. Makes more sense to switch browser tabs than to
    switch between apps.

Onedrive and installed Office apps allow for online collaboration just
    like the web apps do.

Ironically, I can't find the setting in my M365 tenant to change my
Excel and Word default save formats from .ods and .odt to .xlsx and
    .docx!

I'm sure somewhere in the dark recesses of a neglected hallway in a
disused building in Redmond, Washington, someone's written a Clippy text-to-speech addon for CoPilot.
