managing voice AI agents and chatbots across customer-facing and
internal business workflows. It is designed for eligible enterprise
customers who want agents that operate under company-defined policies, permissions, and evaluation standards. Presence is now available

forward-deployed engineers and select global systems integrators.
OpenAI has not disclosed pricing, geographic limits, contractual
terms, or expected costs for integration.
APPLE PLANS OVERHAUL OF MACBOOKS, IMAC IN PUSH TO MEET AI DEMAND (6
MINUTE READ) [7]
Apple is preparing to debut new versions of every Mac it sells. The
wave of new devices will begin with a refreshed low-end 14-inch
MacBook Pro and new iMacs. The machines will likely start shipping in
the fall. Apple is preparing to launch a device leasing program that

SCIENCE CORPORATION'S VISION-RESTORING CHIP WINS EU APPROVAL (5
MINUTE READ) [8]
Science Corporation has won approval from Europe's medical device
regulator to begin selling its PRIMA device, which restores vision
lost from age-related macular degeneration. The device has also
received a designation from the US FDA, the first step toward an
expedited regulatory review. It requires an hour-long outpatient
procedure that plants a small chip in the back of the eye. The product
gives functional vision through camera-equipped glasses that transmit
a view of the world to the chip.
TRAVIS KALANICK'S ROBOTICS COMPANY RAISES $1.7B, LED BY A16Z (3
MINUTE READ) [9]
Travis Kalanick's robotics company, Atoms, has raised $1.7 billion in
a funding round joined by Uber, reconnecting Kalanick back with the
company he founded. Atoms is a rebranded holding company created from
a ghost kitchen project Kalanick has been working on since he resigned
from Uber. Kalanick has yet to go into specifics about what he wants
to build with Atoms, but he has indicated he wants to build a
wheelbase for robots and make everyone more productive. A large
portion of the funding will likely go toward hiring.

HOW ARE TEAMS ACTUALLY USING AI AT SCALE? HERE'S WHAT LLM TELEMETRY
FROM 1,000 ORGS SAYS (SPONSOR) [10]
Thousands of Datadog customers use AI every day. In this report [10],
that data shows how model adoption is shifting, why LLM tech debt is compounding, and how agentic workflows are changing observability.

THE STATE OF WEBMCP (16 MINUTE READ) [11]
WebMCP lets web pages register typed JavaScript functions that
browser AI agents can call. While there is strong industry support
behind the spec, site adoption is close to zero. No mainstream agent
consumes the tools yet, but Google says Gemini in Chrome will be the
first. The API changed locations in a recent draft, which means early
adopters already carry migration debt.
DURABLE OBJECTS ARE MADE FOR AGENTS (11 MINUTE READ) [12]
Cloudflare Durable Objects are a primitive that combines a serverless
V8 isolate for running code, a paired SQLite instance, and request
routing to a particular isolate. They allow developers to start
thinking about their service as a set of many event-driven objects
rather than as a bunch of services talking to a database. Durable
Objects run explicitly in a single-threaded manner and come with
native support for WebSockets. They are cheap and extremely
token-efficient.

CALM TECHNOLOGIES THAT EXCITE ME (14 MINUTE READ) [13]
Technology should enable rather than subjugate. Gaining more
information and speed through our tools doesn't usually result in us
being able to relax more - it usually just means our deadlines get
shorter. The desire for calmer compute has grown past the stage of
indie projects and tiny scales. This post looks at several projects
that help us rest and create a space where our thoughts can be mulled
over without being bombarded with information.
THE PROBLEM WITH HYPERGROWTH AI STARTUPS (7 MINUTE READ) [14]
Startups that have had explosive AI-driven revenue growth may be in
trouble. Most of these companies are scaling revenue by reselling
inference at very low (and sometimes negative) margins. The value of
the products or services they're providing isn't adding anything on
top of the intelligence they are reselling. While VCs seem excited
about this growth, the business model is unsustainable.

in the loop to direct and evaluate the most complex work.
