    This appears to cause the menus to always be displayed at least once, and just once to expert menu-mode users. Is this actually how Wildcat! works?

    I did test it. I am going to retest it using Baja and the Javascript version. I will try and look at it today.

    wildcat! users in expert mode see the menu once and then after that just a short list of commands in the prompt.
