I am wondering how is the area near climate pledge arena, is it
generally ok for tourists? My hotel is only 0.8 miles away.

Is that good enough? Would you walk there with your wife, or your
daughter?
Have you been to downtown Seattle recently? I have, and my comments
(that you conveniently snipped out) are spot on accurate.
Maybe you and your family should pay a visit and walk around there at
night.
I am planning to see the band Rush in October there.
Although Seattle is known to be colorful and crazy like Portland, I hope it ends up better than Los Angeles.

Yes, been there. Done that.

After a concert we walked 2.5-3 miles back to the hotel from Climate Pledge Arena. Nobody bothered us. It was a nice night.

As you often do, you're replying to me, but you snipped out *ALL* of
what I said, leaving no context.
Not sure what your reddit extract is supposed to show... basically it
says "you should be safe, as long as you're with somebody else".

Enjoy. There's plenty to do there. The Space Needle, obviously, and there's a Museaum of Pop Culture that's worth a visit, and the Chihuly Garden and Glass which is quite impressive.

Los Angeles was OK but tons of graffiti which makes the place look a bit of an eyesore, and you see tents everywhere coming out of the airport, a reminder that some are not as fortunate.

I use QWK to access my board, so I only have the most recent messages.
My intent was that the OP would see the message and learn something
from it.

That's exactly what I was hoping to show - to the OP. I'm sure they're
still reading the thread.
I've considered going to the Rush show in Seattle in October. I'm doing
a job search now though since being laid off in September. Maybe if I
get a new job before then and tickets aren't sold out, I may decide to

I just felt with the cost of parking, id rather do a 2 day mini vacation. I was able to get a ticket for like $106.
Did the science fiction museum close? I thought it had. That was fun,
seeing some of the Star Trek TOS props in real life were interesting.
You can get away with a lot when you're filming for a 13" screen in
480i.

I also use QWK / offline reading. The context was there, and you intentionally snipped it.

Ironically, I usually end up leaving unneeded quoted material under my
posting because it's scrolled down below my content.
